

There is a small chance of hitting a mine, but you have no way of knowing where they are yet, so just restart the game if you are so incredibly unlucky. After starting the game, you will need to click on a tile. It is very easy to learn, and it comes with three difficulty levels, but, unfortunately, it lacks a custom mode.

The Classic Minesweeper recreates the most recognizable version of the game, which remained pretty much unchanged until the release of Windows Vista. It is a very simple yet oddly addictive game that requires you to clear a tile field without clicking on any of the mines that are hidden below.

Minesweeper was popularized by Microsoft after the company included it in every Windows version from 3.1 up to Windows 8, when it was finally removed.
